EYH 2008 is Saturday, November 8

Participants discover what the
inside of a toaster looks like.

Are you curious about how things work?

Do you like making new friends and learning new things?

In this one-day event, you'll get to try out three different careers and learn about the women who have those jobs.

From creating new pudding flavors to designing a catapult, you'll get the chance to learn about science-related careers - some that you may not have even known existed before you came to EYH!

When you sign up for EYH, you'll rank your top career interests (choose from biological science, computers, engineering, environmental science, medicine, math, physical science and animal science) on your registration form. On the day of EYH you will join a small group of girls with similar interests and spend the day going to three different career workshops.

Most of the workshops are on the UW-Madison campus, but some are held at Edgewood College, Madison Area Technical Collge and local businesses (like Covance).

"It was fun to meet new people and explore different career fields." - EYH alumna

If you're interested in registering for EYH, it's easy to sign up! Fill out the registration form (make sure you get your parent's signature!) including payment ($25 per person) and send a completed copy to:
